Payment is cash only. Please send exact change. Orders due October 1, 10:00 AM. No orders will be accepted after this day and time.

🐛📚 Kindergarten had so much fun reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle! 🥰
In Library, our little readers created their very own colorful caterpillars using pipe cleaners and beads. Then, just like the hungry caterpillar, they even got to “eat” from our leaves! 🍃🐛

🐛❤️ Our Very Hungry Caterpillars! 🦋🎨 This week, Mrs. Wall’s and Ms. Keighley’s firsties studied The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle and then brought their learning to life in Art class by creating their very own caterpillars! 🐛🌈 At Fairview, we are innovators! ✨ Just look at these caterpillars… no two are alike! Each one is completely unique, just like our amazing firsties!

✨📚 Learning large numbers in a fun way! ✨📚
Mrs. Butler's class used the Kagan Structure “Timed Rally Robin” to practice reading large numbers with their classmates. They took turns sharing their answers, building confidence, and getting lots of practice! 🔢

Good Evening. If you are a family that picks your child up from school, please take a moment to review the procedures. These procedures were designed with your child's safety as our top priority. I would like to reiterate it is not ever ok to change lanes once in the car line unless directed to do so by a staff member. Doing so puts everyone in danger.
Thank you for your help in keeping our students safe.

Today in science, our 5th graders took on “The Invisible Matter Investigation” 🔬✨
Their challenge: How can scientists detect matter they cannot see? 👀
Working in teams, our young scientists rotated through each investigation station while using their senses and scientific tools to make observations, collect evidence, and develop explanations.
We 🫶🏻 seeing students realize that science isn’t just about knowing the answer… it’s about asking questions, gathering evidence, and figuring out things together!
Today they weren’t just learning about matter….
They were thinking like scientists. 👩🏾🔬🧑🏼🔬👨🏽🔬

The first Kindergarten art class of the year was a sweet success! 🍭🎨
Our kindergarten students used playdough and popsicle sticks to create their very own colorful popsicles while learning important classroom rules and procedures.
Playdough is so much more than fun—it helps strengthen little hands for writing readiness, supports social and emotional regulation, and encourages creativity and imagination.
The students had a wonderful time creating, learning, and best of all…they each got to enjoy a real frozen treat at the end! 🍦💙

Mr. Cameron’s 5th graders are kicking off the school year with a splash of creativity! 🎨✨
This week, students are exploring the importance of line in art by learning about the different types of lines—and putting their knowledge into practice with fancy fluorescent paints! Their colorful creations are already shining bright, and we can’t wait to see the finished masterpieces! 🌈🖌️

Mrs. Turner’s kindergarten class learned all about “No Beastie Behaviors” while reading No T. Rex in the Library by Toni Buzzeo! 🦖📚
Through this fun story, students discovered the importance of using kind words, making good choices, and showing respectful behavior wherever they go. We loved learning that even the biggest “beastie behaviors” can be replaced with kindness, self-control, and good manners! 💚

We had a bittersweet goodbye today as we celebrated Keylon Grissom, our amazing Educators Rising student from Arkansas High School and proud Fairview alum! 🎓✨
Throughout his time working alongside Mrs. Salazar during 3rd grade science, Mr. Keylon has been such a positive role model and incredible help in the classroom. From lending a hand during lessons to building relationships with students, he quickly became a favorite among our kids — they absolutely adore him! 💙🔬
To celebrate the end of his high school journey and his time with us, Keylon treated the class to donuts and juice as he said his goodbyes. 🍩🧃
While we are definitely going to miss having him in our classroom, we are beyond excited to see all the amazing things his future holds. We know this is only the beginning for him!
Thank you for everything, Mr. Keylon, and congratulations on this exciting new chapter! 🎉👏
Good luck — your Fairview family is cheering you on every step of the way!
