The Fairview Activity Teachers are gearing up for a new collaborative adventure! 🎨📚 Together, we’ll be diving into “My Life with Spiders and Other Divine Creatures” — a beautiful book of poetry written by Diane Ross with cover art by Dr. Eaton. At Fairview, we thrive on arts integration, and this project is the perfect blend of creativity and collaboration. Poetry and the arts… here we go! ✨🕷️🎭

🎨 Orange you glad it’s art time? 🎃 Mrs. Kerner’s fourth graders loved getting creative with brand-new soft pastels in the art room! Thanks to our magnet grant, students are exploring new materials fearlessly ... and having a blast doing it. They turned a little “orange” in the process and couldn’t stop laughing at Dr. Art’s orange-smudged cheeks! We can’t wait to showcase their hard work in our upcoming fall art gallery display.

✨ Multiplication in action! ✨ Our 3rd grade students had fun exploring multiplication using hands-on manipulatives. It’s amazing to see them build a deeper understanding by making math come to life! 💡➗✖️

🌮 Taco ’bout a great day! Students had so much fun at the Hispanic Heritage Festival at Texarkana College. ¡Qué viva la cultura! 🎶🎉

✨ Learning got a little gooey in 5th grade! Our scientists-in-training mixed up Oobleck and discovered how states of matter can get a little strange (and messy!). 🧪🎉

✨ Our 3rd graders have been busy exploring multiplication in small groups! Working together, they shared strategies, discovered patterns, and built a deeper understanding of how multiplication connects to everyday math. We love seeing teamwork + problem solving in action! 💡X👏
